USDA Pomological Watercolors

            
                The USDA has a lovely collection of watercolors of various kinds of produce, mostly apples, commissioned
                in the 30s and 40s.
            
                They are beautiful and interesting.
            
                USDA has published a web app to access
                    these
                    files but it is extremly slow and getting full resolution images is a pain.
            
                I wrote a script to download the files and they are hosted here
            
                I'm working on doing something interesting with them.
